Geena is an American actress, producer and writer. She also promotes women's issues. Apart from her numerous tasks in Hollywood she also earned praise from critics in every type of serials on television. Prior to her career as a film actress, she worked as a fashion designer. She also was a part of the semi-finalist Team of Women's Archery at Olympics. She has always been a musician since the age of three led her to study music on flute and piano. She also played the organ at an old church in Wareham. Her professional career started with New York City when she was a graduate of Boston University's Drama program. The city was a tough place to be and found herself doing a range of jobs that were odd before gaining her first break as an actor. Models were a hit before she made her debut with the film "Tootsie' in 1982. She also appeared in several Television serials, and then had a very successful acting career and was awarded the Oscar Award for her movie "The Accidental Traveler". The actress also won the Golden Globe Award' for the role she played in a television drama series. She's married Reza Jarrahy and has one daughter as well as two sons born from this marriage. Additionally, she is involved in several social cause.
